Very Detailed Retelling of NYCC
Oct. 13th, 2010 07:55 pm Okay, time to do this entry since I'm done with midterms. Everything is fine with my Spanish now, btw, I was just over-reacting but I'm guaranteed a passing grade, maybe even a B-, since I participate so much and do well in the projects area.

A Letter to Claire About NYCC

Okay, so I just Mapquested my college to the hotel that we're staying at for the Con. It'll take about 7 hours and 17 mins, not including stops or anything so including stops for food, gas, and so many toilet breaks since you pee every other minute, I'm going to assume that the trip is closer to 8 hours or just 7 hours and 45-ish mins since I'll be speeding on the one road that is apparently going to be 345 miles. Seriously, we just cut right accross PA to the Con pretty much. BUT THE THING IS, we pass Mercer. So I know the combination for the garage opener at the lakehouse and that would probably save us an hour. Idk if you'd want to do that or not though? I mean, honestly it is just an hour but, hey, it's an option. Also, do we still want to try to get to the con at 3-ish? Because then I need to talk to the others. Actually, I need to talk to the others anyways.
OH HEY OTHERS GOING TO CON AND READING THIS, how are we going to do this whole getting into the hotel room in four different shifts, thing and then meeting up for some Con time? I'm not sure what time you're all aiming for, but like I said, Claire and I are aiming to get there around 3 on Friday. How do we get ahold of you guys for a hotel room key? Can we ask for four different keys so then Jem and Robina can share one, Mica and Jenn can share one, Claire and I can share one, and then Kelly can have her own? Would that be plausible?
Also, Claire, I was going to tell you to remind me to call the hotel room and figure out how we get permission to park and all that business, but instead I'll just write it here so I won't forget because otherwise I would forget and so would you.
