“No, Leo,” Mikey sighed, rubbing at his temples and staining his bandana with some of the flour on his hands. “The other whisk,” he sarcastically corrected as he grabbed the whisk from the utensil drawer.

Leo frowned and replaced the potato masher he had accidentally grabbed. “Sorry, Mikey, I just really don’t know my way around the kitchen all that much.” He smiled sheepishly.

“Yeah I know, bro, which is why the kitchen pro, i.e. me, is here to help you out!” Mikey grinned and threw his arm around Leo’s shoulder as his previous frustration melted away. He couldn’t really get upset at Leo, after all, Leo was always very patient with him; it was time to return the favor.

“Right, so we take the whisk…?” Leo prompted, looking at his little brother out of the corner of his eye since Mikey was still clinging to him.

Mikey blinked and then beamed once more. “Right, we take the whisk and we whisk the cake batter so everything mixes together and tastes better when we cook it.” Mikey explained as he stepped over to the large mixing bowl on the table. “Whisking is all in the wrist, Leo.” He demonstrated, “All right, now you try it.”

“I think that was a success.” Mikey grinned as he brought the finished cake out of the oven. “Now we just do the fun part of icing and decorating and you’ll get an ‘A’ in Mikey’s Cooking Class!”

“Really?” Leo asked, skeptically. “Even though the first cake exploded?” He motioned around the newly cake-batter decorated kitchen.

“That was just a little mistake about a teaspoon measurement and a tablespoon measurement worth of baking soda. No big deal.” Mikey sat down two knives, a container of chocolate frosting, and purple sprinkles. “See, now is when we add the chocolate. Even though chocolate is Donnie’s favorite he doesn’t like chocolate cake, just the icing part.” Leo nodded as he watched Mikey start to spread icing out on the cake. “Then the sprinkles are just for fun since we have a collection of colors.”

Leo nodded again, a bit absentmindedly, as he stared at Mikey’s neck. There was a blob of cake batter laying in the crook of where his shoulder met his neck. He felt like licking it off.

Shrugging, Leo decided it was a day for being spontaneous, since it had started out with him asking Mikey for help learning how to cook. So he leaned forward and licked the cake batter off.

Mikey jumped a little at the contact and looked over his shoulder at Leo who looked back nonplussed. “You had cake batter on your shoulder.”

“Oh,” Mikey smirked, “Well,” he placed the icing knife down and dipped his finger in the icing. “You have some icing right here,” he poked the middle of Leo’s beak with the dab of icing. “Don’t worry though, I’ll get it.” Leo smiled as Mikey leaned in and licked his beak off. “There, all clean,” he purred as Leo grabbed his shoulders and they forgot all about the baking lesson as their mouths met and their hands started to trace and grope, leaving trails of flour, cake-batter, and whatnot all over each other.

“Gosh, and I thought I was suppose to get the presents and attention today.” Don grinned as he leaned against the fridge, causing the two to break their lip lock momentarily.

“We baked you a cake,” Mikey motioned. “So you can have that and eat it too but if you’ll excuse us, there’s something I really want to eat right now.” Mikey stated boldly as he grabbed Leo’s hand and led him out of the kitchen.

Donnie laughed behind his hand and grabbed the container of icing. Raph still owed him a birthday present.

Oh you're so welcome! I really hope you had an awesome day today! And of course I just had to end it like that. Everyone knows that Mikey wasn't hungry for cake but he was hungry for something. Plus, I decided Donnie needed a treat too. And who doesn't love a little food play with Raphie?

*squees!!! and gigles and claps hands* oh! This was adorable and wonderful! :D you so need to make a sequel! I want to see Donnie thrusting the icing at Raph and saying "I want my birthday present" and Raph is all, brow arched and blank faced... then tosses the icing away and pounces Donnie with a playful-growl. :3 mmmmm, i loved this though. so sweet! i loved Leo being all wide-eyed and cute cooking, and then being all spontaneous. so awesome. this was great stuff.

Since you have the great idea for the sequel you can go ahead and write it if you want to. Still, I'm glad you liked this though! I was really feeling a LeoMikey moment and luckily that was exactly what Aussiegirl wanted!
