Oh! Notice the cute new icon? Yeah, I got rid of one of my old SladeRobin icons (it killed me to delete it even though I'm barely in that fandom still) because I didn't want to buy 100 more icons just for one. Oi. But I needed a Mauna icon for when I'm talking to Aussiegirl ;) and any cute little tot fic, like this one!~

The day had started off as a normal, ho-hum day in the life of a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Until Mikey walked into his room and saw it happen.
“Mauna!” Mikey shrieked at the top of his lungs as his hands came up to grip the sides of his face. His mouth was in a wide ‘o’ shape of absolute horror. “What are you doing?”
Mauna frowned as she slowly put down the safety scissors and tape she had been using. She had thought that she was doing something good but her daddy’s tone and expression told her otherwise. It looked like she was in trouble now. “I,” Mauna frowned as her daddy rushed into the room, followed by her Uncle Leo.
“Mikey, what’s wrong?” Leo asked as he observed the situation and sheathed his Katanas once he had determined that no one was under attack. Rafieo came bounding into the room after being alerted by Mikey’s cries.
Mikey ignored the others in the room as he focused on his daughter and the massacre around her. “What were you thinking, Mauna?” Mikey asked her again.
Mauna rubbed at her eyes as tears started to form. “I was w’apping your presents.” She explained.
“With my comic books?!?” Mikey shouted as he dropped to his knees to cradle a few of his torn apart comics.
“But I thought you liked them, Daddy.” Mauna sobbed as a few tears started to run down her cheeks.
“Not as wrapping paper!” Mikey screamed at her.
“I’m sorry,” Mauna wailed as she stood up and rushed to her Papa. Rafieo instantly picked up his tear stained daughter. “Daddy hates me!” she cried into his shoulder as her little hands scrabbled for some sort of purchase on him, one eventually gripping one of the spikes sticking out of his neck.
“No, no,” Rafieo argued as he cradled her, softly patting her shell. “He’s just a little upset right now. Its okay, Daddy will be okay in a few minutes. Come on,” he took her out of the room. “You want some graham crackers and milk?” Rafieo asked as an offered distraction. Mauna nodded and hiccupped with her sobs.
He settled her on her raised seat at the table and grabbed the snack. Taking a seat beside her, Rafieo wiped away the tears on her face and offered her a smile as he handed her a graham cracker.
“I didn’t mean to upset Daddy,” she blinked her glossy eyes at him as she munched on her snack. “I just wanted to w’ap his gift.” She explained.
“I know, honey,” Rafieo reached over to rub her shell again. “But you shoulda asked me for wrapping paper.”
“But Uncle Raph uses the new’paper comics because Daddy likes them. Daddy likes his comics better so I thought he’d like my gift more.” Mauna grabbed her Sippy cup and slurped her milk down.
“I understand but Daddy likes his comics in one piece better than separate pieces.” Rafieo explained to her. “So just don’t do that again, okay? Besides, you know you shouldn’t touch things that don’t belong to you.”
Just then Mikey came bounding down the stairs to grab Mauna into a big, flashy hug. “I love you, I love you, I love you so much!” He exclaimed as he continued to squeeze her and began to spin in circles as well, making her giggle a little.
“You’re not mad at me?” Mauna asked.
“No, sweetheart,” Mikey shook his head and pressed a kiss to her bare forehead. “Daddy just overreacted. You know how I tend to do that.” He tossed her slightly into the air and caught her easily as he then raced back over to the table and settled her back into her chair. “For a second, Daddy forgot that comic books can be replaced but little girls’ feelings can’t. Can you forgive me for making you feel bad?” Mikey asked.
Mauna beamed and launched herself from her seat to grab Mikey in her own hug. “Of course, Daddy; I love you.” She rubbed her head into his shoulder and lifted her face to smile brightly at her father. “Can you forgive me for hurting your comics, Daddy?”
“Of course, sweetheart; I love you.” Mikey rubbed his beak against Mauna’s to imitate an Eskimo kiss. “Now why don’t you go finish wrapping your presents? Uncle Leo volunteered to help you out.” He placed her on the ground and patted her shell as she nodded and ran back up the stairs to promptly tackle her uncle and finish with wrapping her Christmas presents.
“Wow,” Rafieo smiled at Mikey. “You grew up rather quickly.” Mikey pretended to look insulted.
“Well, it helped that I got to peak at my gift.” Mikey’s smile broke his false scowl.
Rafieo chuckled. “She painted that by herself,” he informed his partner.
Mikey hummed. “And just when did she have the time to paint such a masterpiece under my own beak?”
“We do have a lot of free time when you go out patrolling with your brothers.” Rafieo smirked. “Besides, Leon did find that box of coffee mugs a few weeks ago and they did all look the same.”
“And now I’ll have my very own mug to proclaim my bragging rights over Don that I am the number one daddy.” Mikey grinned as he imagined his future boasting plans. “As well as Battle Nexus Champion,” Mikey chuckled along with Rafieo.
“So you did notice the back.” Mikey leaned in to kiss Rafieo. “I hope you’ll like my gift as much as hers.”
“I’m sure I will.” Mikey smirked as he held up as a small piece of paper. “I wrote down the comics she tore and, knowing you, I guessed that you haven’t gotten me a gift yet because you always wait until the last minute,” Mikey trailed off as he waved the paper in front of Rafieo’s eyes. Rafieo snatched the paper quickly with an amused grin. “Remember, there’s only four shopping days left, Mr. Grown Up.” Mikey taunted as he grabbed a graham cracker and left Rafieo at the table.
