Author's Note: Written for the teentitan_slash summer ficathon prompt # 23 Collection. I chose the pairing and wanted to do something I didn't see much of.

He didn’t want to be a bother to his hero. Cyborg had done so much for him, reminded him what it was like being human and having emotions again. He couldn’t bother the teenager with the emotions that had been returned to him.

Fixit craved Cyborg in a way that he had learned, from watching, not experiencing; that a girl would crave the boy she sat behind in math class. Or like the boy who craved his older neighbor because she would lie in her yard in a bikini during the summer and wave at him as he passed.

But that didn’t mean that Cyborg would crave him back. Cyborg was out living his life, a better life than Fixit could offer.

Fixit settled for his collection of Cyborg merchandise he could find in the stores in Jump City. When he was really lucky, he would stumble across something in the trash that had once belonged to the half-robotic teen. It made his insides clench in a good way to hold something Cyborg once owned.

His emotions were a gift, and a curse. But since they were from Cyborg, he would live with them; they were part of his collection.
