Dear Jordan,

STOP READING HELLBOY. 

Yes, I understand your enthusiasm for the shiny new fics and comics that you have found and purchased. Yes, Hellboy's voice actor in the movies is Ron Pearlman a.k.a Slade's voice from TT. Yes, Hellboy is a giant red creature with temper tantrums, an undying love for cats, and has a soft side (WOW THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR COUGHRAFIEOCOUGH).

But you leave for an awesome vacation in exactly one week and you have shit you need to do. You have two more fics you need to write for springkinkfest that you need to finish writing. You have new plot bunnies to tend to. You have old fics and challenges to work on. You have texts you need to type up. You haven't checked any of your emails. And you have a letter that you've been staring at and haven't written a response to even though you read it, like, three weeks ago and that's just terrible of you! 

Okay, Crew is finally over so your summer is now free time alongside work on Wednesdays, babysitting, and weight lifting with your daddy, but that doesn't mean you get to be lazy. You might have been having problems sleeping the past three nights but that's probably because you're too hyped up over Hellboy. Yes, it would be so easy to write a crossover fic between Hellboy and the TMNT but, oh hey, remember that crossover with Mikey and Beast Boy from TT? Yeah, that's what I thought. 

You get to read one more fanfic, and I mean it, just one more for the day. THEN YOU NEED TO GET SHIT DONE. UNDERSTOOD? Good. 

I'll make a compromise, okay? Write a response to that letter to beg that person to understand why you've been just so utterly lazy in responding and hope that she continues to be an awesome friend to you, although I don't know why she bothers. Get that done first, read your Hellboy one-shot, yes, just a one-shot. I doubt you'd be able to find another awesome series like the one you just finished anyways. Then get some things typed up and taken cared of.

If you actually finish a fic today you can read some more Hellboy, okay? No, a fic, not a drabble, you little weasel.
