The corn stalks whipped at his face but his invulnerable speed barely felt it anyway as he continued on his nightly run. Clark loved to run as fast as he wanted without having to worry about anything.

Then a flash of green caught his eye slightly too late before he ran over the green object. Clark came to a halt and quickly backpedaled as he heard a cry of pain.

“What the shell hit me?” An angry voice cried out.

Clark blinked as he stared at the green creature and the other three similar, shelled creatures. “Um, sorry,” Clark smiled.

“So, you are mutants?” Clark asked once more, just for confirmation.

“Right,” Michelangelo nodded easily as he reached for another piece of pizza.

“But you’re not mutated due to the meteors, even though you’re green like them?” Clark’s eyes narrowed in confusion still.

“We’re green because we’re mutated turtles and turtles tend to be green.” Donatello smiled and patted Clark’s knee. “I know it’s strange,"

“I’ve seen stranger.” Clark brushed the comment off, deciding to take their word, and helped himself to a slice of pizza before the box was emptied. The four brothers were actually challenging his own appetite.
