Feb. 15th, 2011 05:20 pm I don't particularly like Valentine's Day because it promotes love for only one day when love really should be an every day kind of thing, but I do love the day after when the chocolates are all on half off sale. ^^ I love buying myself chocolate, even when I turn down others that do buy me chocolate. >_> Honestly, I might seem like a cold bitch for turning a guy down yesterday, and admittedly I am a huge bitch but I'm okay with it 'cause it's part of my personality, but when I've been turning a guy down for over three months now, he really still shouldn't try again on Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day isn't some sort of magical holiday when I'm suddenly going to realize that I'm in love. It's just another day really. If I was in a relationship already, I'd buy my significant other something but I wouldn't make such a big deal out of the day. If I remember last year correctly, when I was dating, I really didn't do anything special. I bought Amber chocolates and we watched a movie while cuddling and eating the chocolates together. It was a pretty normal thing, honestly.
